At the Institute for Rural Development (IRD), he contributes to innovative educational tools as an Education Associate.

Mr. Saksham serves as Secretary and Tutor at Joyfull Circle, coordinating free after-school tuition programs that blend academics with creative activities like storytelling and art, alongside managing the “Back to School” campaign to distribute school starter kits and emergency aid drives for families. As founder of Hamro Niti, he leads research, writing, and editorial efforts to produce a Substack newsletter and social media content that demystifies government policies and their societal impacts. At IRD, he designs the STEM curriculum for the Ex-L (Excel Learning) platform, creating interactive tools like quizzes and flashcards for Grades 1–10, aligned with national standards, to support self-paced learning.

Hamro Niti’s content has engaged over 1,500 readers, making policy accessible and sparking civic awareness. His work on the Geetamata School Library Project established a library with 1,452 books and a digital catalog of 4,800+ titles, serving 2,100+ students and fostering a culture of reading and confidence in English.

Saksham Ghimire has been selected as a “Glocal’s 20under20 of 2025 Batch” as an early change-maker throughout the nation. Glocal’s 20 under 20 is an umbrella title for 20 early change-makers, who are teenagers from diverse fields, stepping out to create an impact in the society.
