Ms. Jwala Dhakal is an 18 years old young writer from Jhapa. She has been making an impact on society through her writings, art, and actions since she was a child. Her first novel, ‘Nature’ was published while she was in third grade. It was a collection of stories, poems, and articles that she had written and illustrated for various newspapers. Likewise, She translated ModNath Prashit’s Book called ‘Bhoot pret ko Katha’ in grade 5 and published it after 2 years in a short version.  Her articles have already been featured in different national & local newspapers.

She was awarded with the Kartikeya Child Trust Award from Kailash Satyarthi and also has received the UN habitat (int’l) award Bronze Prize. Likewise, She has  participated in many Healthy Competitions in school and joint school (esp.: drawing & Literature) and has secured the grand position. Apart from that, she has also organized an art exhibition with the goal of constructing a computer lab for the children of an orphanage home.
