I am very much glad to be a part of the Glocal International Teen Conference which changed my overall perspective towards looking like a teen. When I was in 6th grade, there was a non-profit organization called “Eejot”. In that organization, I got a chance to study over there for free. I studied there for 6 months. After that, I was capable of training all the students and started helping poor students over there. And in one year, I was officially established as a trainer and trained 300+ poor students in ‘Computer Education’, and also worked there for four years in different 5 remote villages of Nepal. Because of this, I got a chance to attend the event, Glocal International Teen Conference, 2018.

Like from that GITC event, seeing so many young amazing people, teens from different countries with their amazing works, that is the kind of stepping stone towards whatever I have been doing today. From there I have got a lot of inspiration from teenagers across the country. My mindset has been transformed to the next level as well.

My focus was always there to do something beyond my age that I could inspire other fellow teenagers to take action and do amazing works in their life or their careers. So, I started to explore myself. There were so many things to explore; I started to attend different events and seminars. I started building networks with a lot of people with whom I could have benefited from them and could provide some value to them as well.

Additionally, in 2019, I organized an event called “Why entrepreneurs in Nepal?” There are so many young aspiring entrepreneurs, but they do not have the right way, the right directors or mentors who could guide them towards whatever they are trying to do. So, with that idea, I initiated an event which was a national level event of 10 renowned entrepreneurs as Speakers, Mentors, and 300+ Aspiring Young entrepreneurs from different parts of the nation. The main motive of the event was to create more technologists, entrepreneurs, and innovators in Nepal.

At the beginning of the lockdown, I got an opportunity to be a part of the emerging marketplace, which is called “Gyapu”. That was the time I got to go out of my comfort zone and learned so many things out there and then after working there for one year. Recently, I started a company with my wonderful friends and have full products in the market for business products in the market. And now we currently develop business products and try to take them into the market. We have a Mobile Security app, which is known as M-security, which was also recognized as the top 13 products of Nepal by ICT Award 2020. Thus, these are all things that I’m trying to do in the field of entrepreneurship.

Previously, one-year back, I was more about going to the events in connecting with networking people. And later on, I realized that it’s not a way to go, so I tried to work for some organization so that I could gather that good information in need. Finally, I got to start my own. So, by doing all these things what I believe is; in today’s generation all we are living in an innovative decade of humanity where we can imagine and achieve anything we want because we have access to a lot of knowledge information like whatever we want to know; whomever we want to connect with. We are the lucky generation of youth that has access to worldwide connections, and opportunities that it is right and high time for us to make the most out of it. Besides, this is the right time for all the teenagers to have their comfort zone in life, just do amazing work and build connections with different people. The power of social media helps you to build your networking and enhance different opportunities. This media can be a great platform to connect people around the world and all of those can be part of your journey to help you thrive to the next level.

I would like to add one more thing while working with the ‘Gyapu’ marketplace. The way I took ownership of whatever responsibility I have got. I had developed my mindset that if we cannot take responsibility for whatever we have done, we are not going to do the same for the company as well. Thus, this is what I have learned from the overall journey.
