GTH South Asia 2026 is the first regional edition of Glocal Teen Hero that brings together outstanding teen changemakers from five South Asian countries - Nepal, India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh for recognition, exchange, and collaboration.

Who can Apply?
Teenagers aged 13–19 from participating South Asian countries who have made a significant impact beyond academics in their communities are eligible to participate.

While the national Glocal Teen Hero focuses on recognition within one country, the regional edition:

Is it a competition?
No, GTH South Asia emphasizes recognition and celebration of teen leadership, rather than ranking contestants competitively. National processes may include evaluation stages to identify the most impactful initiatives.
What is the process to apply in GTH?
Documents Required
- Birth certificate / Citizenship or any legal documents;
- CV and High-quality passport size photo;
- Mandatory Supportive documents (Photos, Recommendation letter, Certificates etc. which shows or proves applicants work)

What is the evaluation criteria for selection?
The selection in each country is based on a holistic assessment of the participants, considering factors such as:
- Initiative and Innovation, Impact and Sustainability, Leadership and Social Contribution
Selections are primarily based on the applications submitted, with careful review of the real-world impact beyond academics, the scale and reach of their initiatives, the attitude, and values of the participants, and their vision for sustainable change.
What happens after the South Asia awarding ceremony?
The regional platform will:
- Support collaboration among teen leaders.
- Provide access to a South Asia network of teen changemakers.
- Open opportunities for mentorship, partnerships, and ongoing engagement.
