Mr. Saurab Banstola is a 17 years old STEM activist and writer dedicated to transforming education. He founded Rising Pupil, impacting over 12,234 students by introducing academic olympiads. He co-founded “Mathalysis World,” a YouTube channel for math problem solutions, and authored “A Beautiful Journey in Introductory Calculus.” Saurab also teaches at Bloom Nepal School.

His Work

He is currently working on a project titled “A Beautiful Journey in Introductory Calculus,” a book designed to bridge the gap between grade ten and eleven mathematics in Nepal. Co-authored with a professor from the University of Sydney, the manuscript is under review by the American Mathematical Society. He aims to publish it for free, reaching one million students in the first year. In addition, he is the founder and Board of Decision member at Rising Pupil, which promotes academic olympiads and provides resources and support for students. He also runs “Mathalysis World,” a YouTube channel offering solutions to challenging math problems from competitions. As a teacher at Bloom School Nepal, he prepares students for advanced math concepts and established the LML Club to support olympiad training.
