He is a student-researcher, science communicator, and dedicated child rights advocate from Nepal. Actively engaged in youth-led initiatives, he promotes education, equity, and empowerment. Whether representing Nepal on global stages or making science accessible to young minds, Osish combines knowledge and empathy to inspire change and curiosity.

Mr.Osish co-edits Amicus Curiae’s special issue, “Pushing the Boundaries of Intergenerational Activism in an Era of Polycrisis,” weaving together global youth perspectives on rights and change. He has worked with Terre des Hommes, Pathfinders, and Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City to reduce street-connected children by half in Itahari through partnerships with Voice of Children. As a child advisor for COVIDUnder19, he contributed to global child rights initiatives, including co-authoring four UN policy briefs. Through Learn2Lead, he provides educational guidance, securing scholarships for over 500 students. He also leads advocacy on child marriage, climate justice, and digital inclusion, influencing local and national policies.

Mr. Osish’s activism has transformed lives in Itahari and beyond, halving the number of street-connected children through community partnerships.With a global outlook grounded in community compassion, Mr.Osish ensures that every speech, session, or policy he engages with leaves real-life impact in the hands of young people. His Learn2Lead platform has empowered over 500 students with scholarships, enabling access to quality education. By representing Nepal at the UN High-Level Political Forum, he amplified child rights globally, influencing policies with four co-authored briefs. His local advocacy has driven policy changes in Itahari, promoting child participation, while his educational initiatives, like PiE at St. Xavier’s College, have boosted confidence among underprivileged students, fostering a generation of empowered, socially aware youth.

Osish Niraula has been selected as a “Glocal’s 20under20 of 2025 Batch” as an early change-maker throughout the nation. Glocal’s 20 under 20 is an umbrella title for 20 early change-makers, who are teenagers from diverse fields, stepping out to create an impact in the society.
