“Change is the end result of all true learning.” – Radhika Gupta

Radhika Gupta, 16 years old educationist from Uttar Pradesh has been awarded the title of Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero India 2021. She is a self-directed learner, fine artist, bibliophile and a keen explorer. She is an enthusiastic YouTuber, dedicated and a true leader who has a motive to bring a positive change in a society.

She has been working on organizing, education field trips for children in the rural areas from the past 4 years. Ms. Gupta believes in providing quality education and experiential learning to underprivileged children. She started organizing educational field trips for the children from the villages who don’t have access to experiential and organic learning. She organized non-competitive games in government schools to promote team spirit. 

Through her YouTube channel, “An & Ra,” she has been instructing and providing a variety of useful content for young children. Her videos are informative, inspirational and amusing to watch.  She creates meaningful content for teenagers by conducting interviews with teenagers who have a story to tell or an experience to share, which has the potential to motivate and inspire many other teenagers out there. The channel’s motto is “For the teens and by the teens”.

Her channel has already reached 12000 views and has educated over 2500 students. Ever since then she has developed oratory skills, which she loves. Likewise, she hosts interviews with various teenagers and features their inspirational stories on her YouTube channel. Ms. Gupta has initiated big steps to aware people.

Today, Ms. Gupta is inspiring thousands of young people to be the change they want to see through her work. Thousands of people have benefited from her efforts and initiative.  As a result; She is featured by Hindustan Times about her life journey and decisions, interviewed by Radio FM about her journey as a self-directed learner.

In the coming days, she intends to organize more trips, take more children on educational trips, and create a community of open learners in the villages through which we will spread true and genuine learning.

Ms. Gupta has always been enthusiastic and active in the field of education sectors in her quest to find herself. She has inspired millions of teenagers to take action and contribute to the betterment of society. She aspires to do something significant, something that will have a significant impact on society or the nation.
