Seliya Shrestha is a 15-year-old Social Activist from Damak, Jhapa. She is currently working as an ‘RJ’ on the Saptarangi FM 101.6 Mhz, Damak; where she makes people aware of Child Rights through her program. She is also engaged in various community-based clubs as the ‘president’ of Ward Baal Sanjal, Damak-8, ‘Secretary’ of Damak Public Library Child Club, ‘Strategic Planning Officer’ at Interact District3292, ‘member’ of Damak Municipal Child Network, ‘member’ of Nepalese Teens and the ‘working member’ of SQC. She has represented Nepal two times in the international program.

Additionally, Along with her team, She has started a campaign of ‘Creative Corona’, a virtual platform to showcase the talents of the children in this pandemic situation.

Through her work; She has been able to educate children and people about Child rights. Additionally, She has also inspired her fellow teenagers. 

Seliya Shrestha was selected among the 20 brightest young entrepreneurs, innovators, and game changers below the age of 20 in Nepal, for the year 2020. This annual list is the ultimate honor roll of young game changers reshaping Nepal for the better. The platform seeks to encourage the youths to share their initiation, creativity, and enthusiasm which will then motivate them and more of the other youths in the nation to develop an entrepreneurial thinking.
