Mr. Sachintha Chamaranga Abeyrathne is an 18 years old Social Entrepreneur from Piliyandala, Sri Lanka. He is the founder of a non-profit organization E-Learning Portal LK which started during the lockdown period with the aim to facilitate students in rural areas who are underprivileged to get free and quality education.
He is also volunteering at The First Step (Social Media Evangelist, Content Creator), HOPE – for a better world (Web Developer, Graphic Designer).
With the help of professionals, he was able to facilitate quality, equal and free education by conducting online seminars, quizzes and webinar which not only supported students for their exams but also act like a guidance for students on how they can choose their career paths & how they can find their passion.
The volunteer project that he started was able to facilitate 1500+ students island-wide during the first phase of the free online seminar series. He is continuing the special webinar series in the year 2021 with the theme based on “Skill Based Education Development”.
The aim is to provide Sri Lankan students with a better idea about the various career opportunities which fit the industry revolution 4.0. He aspires to become a cyber-security specialist and a successful entrepreneur in the future and change the society for better.
