Ms. Bidhata Pathak is a 17- years old energetic and young activist from Nuwakot. She is a Writer, Filmmaker, Climate action researcher, and advocate. Her interests dwell around economics, literature, psychology, dancing, and music. She has been working on different projects aimed at contributing to the welfare of society for the past few years as part of her mission to be a voice for the voiceless. Bidhata is involved in different renewed organizations like United Nations Environment Program, Tunza Eco-generation, Awareness 360 Global, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Incubate Nepal, Students’ Research Council Nepal, and many more. Her works include a digital campaign aiming to educate girls and women about the effects of sanitary pads on the environment and a possible alternative of switching to cloth pads. Bidhata has been contributing as a community leader in advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. She initiated a project on green menstruation and animal cruelty for school children impacting 60+ young minds. Apart from that, she also served as an executive member and advisor for the organization’s motive and core theme: menstrual hygiene awareness. Ms. Pathak has been actively working on the project of CliMates Nepal.

Bidhata believes in the power that arises when art and human concerns come together to make an impact and inspire others to do so. Additionally, She has impacted hundreds of young lives and also advocated against animal cruelty. She was honored by the Ward 8 of Shivapuri Village as a young person advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals for her contribution towards society. Moreover, She was one of the 25 grantees of the prestigious Diana Award Winning Awareness 360 International Fellowship for global changemakers.
Bidhata Pathak has been selected as a “Glocal’s 20under20 of 2022 Batch” as an early change-maker throughout the nation. Glocal’s 20 under 20 is an umbrella title for 20 early change-makers, who are teenagers from diverse fields, stepping out to create an impact in the society.
