Susan Sapkota is a 15-year-old Environmentalist from Surkhet. His team has initiated the “Go Green Go Clean” campaign to promote Ecological Preservations and has already completed the 75th  week. They have also formed clean clubs in maximum schools at Surkhet to work for a safe environment. 

Susan is a young enthusiast teen with the big mission of making a green nation. He stands out with his works and has been inspiring many teenagers.

His Journey

He started his journey in the sector of the environment from a very young age. He was inspired and motivated to work in the sector of ecology. Since grade 8, he started working on ecological problems. 

He describes himself as an energetic teen who has been working as a social activist. He is also actively engaged in social activities such as afforestation programs, public speaking, and other activities as well. He and his team have initiated the “Go Green Go Clean” campaign which will promote ecological preservations. Through the campaign, people will get to realize what the role greenery plays in them living in a healthy environment. Along with this, he has formed clean clubs in maximum schools in his locality.

Impact Created

Now people are comparatively more concerned about the ecosystem.  Students and many youths have got a chance to build their hometown as a much better and hygienic place to live in and are now getting many classes about ecosystems.

Susan Sapkota was selected among the 20 brightest young entrepreneurs, innovators, and game changers below the age of 20 in Nepal, for the year 2020. This annual list is the ultimate honor roll of young game changers reshaping Nepal for the better. The platform seeks to encourage the youths to share their initiation, creativity, and enthusiasm which will then motivate them and more of the other youths in the nation to develop an entrepreneurial thinking.
