Teenagers are passionate about learning and have a lot of energy to try new things. Teenagers are the future of the nation. They have a huge potential to expose and invent many things that could lead the nation to the track of sustainable development goals. Teenagers have a higher potential to grab the self-conscious skill that is required to develop themselves. Today’s teenagers can develop creative skills and can be change-makers through their amazing works.
Considering these things; the teen hero journey came up with new concepts to bring passionate teenagers together from around the world. Glocal Teen Hero is the platform for teenagers to showcase their initiation, creativity and their works on the global platform through this project. This is a great platform to explore your creativity and expand your horizons.
Glocal Teen Hero is a recognition platform which recognizes teenagers initiation, creativity and enthusiasm in achieving sustainable goals. It is an initiation of Glocal Pvt. Ltd (a business enterprise working in the field of skill, education and entrepreneurship) to celebrate the teenagers who are doing beyond academics and are active to create a positive effect in their society. The major purpose of this intervention is to inspire and empower teenagers to venture outside of their comfort zones, be innovative, and develop entrepreneurial thinking. With the aim to initiate Glocal Teen Hero in all over South Asia, Glocal is bringing this opportunity to Indian Teenagers for their encouragement and development.
Glocal Teen Hero India aims to empower teenagers and give them an opportunity to lead their endeavors, motivate them to dream big, and always follow their hearts and passion. This is a lifetime opportunity for the Indian teenagers who believe in the work they do and are ready to put their vision and mission to the world. 
GTH India is the first country to host the Glocal Teen Hero Franchise. GTH India is now in its 3rd edition and has been designed to bring out innovative teenagers from different corners of the nation. Glocal Teen Hero – India, which acknowledged wonderful teens from India working in varied sectors, was successfully organized in the years 2019 and 2020. Mr. Monishwaran Maheswaran, a young entrepreneur, was the inaugural winner of Glocal Teen Hero India, and Mr. Vivaan Kabir, a youth activist from Mumbai became Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero – India in 2020.
Likewise, Rupam Ghosh; Lakshya Chhabra; Kunal Chandiramani; Kaushal Gohil and Garvita Gulhati were the finalists of Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero India in 2019. Similarly, Aditi Jain; Kanhaiya Varshney; Ratneshwaran Maheswaran; Rohan Kodag; and Saumya Tomar became finalists of Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero India in 2020.
GTH India has recognized 12 teenagers from India. Till now, 2 teen heroes have been recognized with the title of “Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero India” for their contribution and impacts in the society.

This year we received 173 applications throughout the nation ranging from diverse fields from Social Activism, Science and Technology, Girls Right Activism, Literature, Health, Education, Social Entrepreneur, Sports, Dance, Music, Environment and Conservation, Child Right Activism, and others. We were able to reach 2,29,020+ teenagers across the nation.
