Mr. Aaditya Singh Thapa is an 18-year-old Relentless Child Right Activist from Nepalgunj who has been involved in several campaigns related to education, and child rights. For the past 4 years, he has been actively working on child issues. 

He constantly empathized with children who were deprived of their basic rights and forced into marriage rather than receiving a quality education. As a result, with the hope of making every child fortunate by ensuring their educational rights. Since 2074, he has been working in Children’s Club. Currently, He is leading the Network of Child Clubs and working for children participation and child rights.

Through different dramas, awareness &  educational programs he has been awaring people and children about the rights of education. Likewise, He has been performing various activities, workshop, seminar with a focus on child marriage and child labor. Along with his friends; they are able to reduce child marriage and child labour in his community. As a result; The number of children has increased who has enrolled in schools for better education. Furthermore, he teamed up with police officers to go to the locations and investigate the records of child labor. 

Aaditya has been recognized and has received various accolades for his dedication and enthusiasm towards bringing impact in society. The Mayor of Nepalgunj, Dr.Dhawal Shamser  Rana presented him with an award for his work in the child sector. Aditya has received an opportunity to write a book about children’s rights. For this, Mr. Bindu Bhusand Basnat (President of Ward No.10) awarded him. He is currently working on a campaign to make Nepalgunj Ward No. 10 a child-friendly ward. He just declared Ward No. 10 to be child marriage-free.

Apart from that, he is also actively engaged in tree plantation programs in various schools.  Aditya wants to set himself as an exemplary activist among teenagers and motivate them to work for the welfare of underprivileged children. In the future; He sees himself working in the sectors against drug abuse especially among children.

Aaditya Singh Thapa has been selected as a “Glocal’s 20under20 of 2021 Batch” as an early change-maker throughout the nation. Glocal’s 20 under 20 is an umbrella title for 20 early change-makers, who are teenagers from diverse fields, stepping out to create an impact in the society.
