Growing an IT club from 11 girls to 90.

When Aarya became Vice President of her school’s IT club, 11 girls were members. A year of coding bootcamps and peer mentorship later, that number was 90 — and the girls who once doubted themselves were leading workshops of their own. She now researches affordable air-quality sensors for Nepal’s cities and has represented Nepal at the U.S. State Department’s Women in STEM Exchange.
