Mr. Amrit Rijal is a 19-year-old Child Right Activist from Itahari. He is now the head of the Nepal Youth Network For Sustainable Development District Committee Sunsari. He is also the initiator of the “Lakshyadeep” campaign, a CovidUnder19 peer mentor, and former president of Hamro Awaj Baal Sanjal.

For over five years, Amrit has been a noteworthy leader in the child rights space. He is known for his work as the facilitator for child-friendly local governance but Amrit can also be credited with contributions to end the violence against children, leadership among youth and advocating for impact of climate change on children. Similarly, He has worked as radio host in radio pariwartan 89.4MHz where he hosted the children-related program ‘Nirakar’. Mr. Rijal believes in the power of diversity and aspires to create a safe and child-friendly Nepal.
