Ms. Binita Dhakal is a 19-year-old Social Entrepreneur from Gorkha. She is an exceptionally perceptive and unprejudiced teen who grew up recognizing billions of problems and trillions of solutions in her environment.
Binita is a self-driven and curious person captivated by the idea of taking on challenges. As a social entrepreneur, she aims to provide resolution to different issues such as women’s rights, child literacy, equality, and so on. She works as a social activist and leads a mass of 500+ motivated individuals to create awareness on the topic “Violence against women”. She was able to encourage more than 30 girls to speak for women.
She worked as a researcher and peer mentor in a team to study Nepal’s financial inclusion landscape and suggested relevant policies. Also, worked as a gender economic researcher and private tutor. She helped with brainstorming ideas to teach the children and building external relations by networking and researching. Besides this, Binita is also managing 50 people as a Human Resources Team by updating the working status of all field visit sessions from each individual focusing on digital education to children around the country. She is also helping students to write articles and analyze issues.
In future, she sees herself as a strong advocate for women’s rights and child literacy. She will encourage youngsters to learn about the country’s economic situation beginning in high school by launching a platform called “Youth-PEN (Public Economics Nepal)”, where they will work closely with economics, analysis, and policy formulation.
