Ekraj Ghimire is an 18-year-old Environmentalist & IT Person from Palpa. He is working as an IT Officer in well renowned IT company Semicolon Tec; the franchise of the USA currently situated at Devinagar, Butwal, Rupandehi. He has also created an app for his college named ‘Tilottama Campusʼ which was published in the Google Play store. Along with his team, He has formed an e-Commerce site named Naya Koseli which is currently providing service inside Butwal. With his team, he has also recently formed a Butwal Robotics Club in Butwal which provides training to students related to Robotics and AI. He has given 15 days of training to the locality of Tilottama ward no. 3 on the topic of “Use of computer and Smart Palika”.
Apart from Technology, He also works for a safe environment where; He was pledge for planting 1,000 trees by Earth Day Network during the campaign of Earth Day 2018-2020. He has been working with Plant-for-the-Planet as an Ambassador; Billion Tree campaign and Sano Sansar Initiative as his support to Sustainable Development Goals.
Ekraj is versatile who has dual dreams in his eyes–wants to connect people with Science & Technology in Nepal and the other to become Nepal environmentally sustainable.
Starting of his Journey
Ekraj started his journey in the sector of IT when he was in 5th grade. He was attracted to the field of computer in the technical world of IT. He was always very curious about the little things in the field of Science & Technology. Then, he decided to do something new with his own research. He used to spend most of the time on Google and YouTube rather than on Social Media. When he was in grade 9, he gave a PowerPoint and Video Editing Workshop. Moreever, he has got an opportunity to explore his skills in the IT sector through WordPress Workshop in Kalika Secondary School.
He is a creative thinker, learner, and explorer. He’s fond of learning new things, sharing the knowledge that he assures. Ekraj expressed that he has an interest in videography where he has created a lot of videos that are currently uploaded on his YouTube channel. Now, He is working as an IT Officer in the well renowned IT company Semicolon Tec.
He is enthusiastic about learning where he wants to explore new things among the people. Ekraj has started learning different Programming languages like JavaScript, Flutter, Block Codes, Python, Robotics, AI, and many more. Also, he has also created an app for his college named ‘Tilottama Campusʼ which is published in the Google Play store which helped him to attract the attention of every student and teacher. Furthermore, he started his journey in the world of hacking. He did a course on Ethical Hacking, Cracking, and Carding. Moreover, he has learned Social Engineering and Brute-force too. He also wants to work in the field of Cyber Security.

Through inspirational work; He has been motivating his fellow teenagers and created a positive impact in society by planting 1000 trees and working for a safe environment.
