Ms. Ganga Sah is an 18-year-old female Female Education Activist from Mahottari. She is an energetic and young activist, who has been working in the sector of education. She enjoys writing poems, news, and stories. In her spare time, she enjoys connecting and interacting with people. Ganga is an empathetic person who believes in providing girls with access to quality education. She is a social activist who primarily works for girl child education. She is associated with NAGN, social club, and many different organizations that work for education. Her first interest is to work for a society focusing on girls’ education, against dowry, and child marriage. Apart from that, She also worked to build a child-friendly school and worked against child marriage. She also works against child labor, abuses, violence, and other cultural inequality. Additionally, She is a part of the team and also worked for people to distribute food for 30 days during pandemics, blood campaigns, cleanliness campaigns, and many more. Ganga worked for quality education and provided training to the people around her. She also got the opportunity to question the representatives for social problems on National Television. Besides this, She wrote a few articles, grabbed appreciation, and got awarded with “Hero of Madhesh.” Ganga is a passionate believer who believes in the power of dreams, visualizes goals, and works hard to attain them. She sees herself as a hardworking lady who wants to help people grow and learn at all stages of their lives. 

Impact Created

Her work has impacted the people around her. Her work and campaign made people aware against child marriage and dowry are illegal. She encouraged parents to let their girl child study. She advocates for the female right to education. Also, She has also provided 2 days of training to around 40 people against child marriage and women empowerment. With her team and leadership, the initiation of open discussion about abuse and sexual violence is happening right now. Her work provided a voice to the girls.
Ganga Sah has been selected as a “Glocal’s 20under20 of 2022 Batch” as an early change-maker throughout the nation. Glocal’s 20 under 20 is an umbrella title for 20 early change-makers, who are teenagers from diverse fields, stepping out to create an impact in the society.
