Kishor didn’t wait for permission to start — he funded his own early climate work himself. Five years later, his Climate Justice project has planted over 3,230 trees, run Karnali Province’s first-ever Trash Collection Race, and built real working relationships with the municipality, forest office, and watershed authorities that back-office his advocacy — including a direct appeal to Karnali’s Chief Minister to restore Bulbule Lake.
