The teenager who got a mayor to change a policy.

Manjil built Youth Civic Launchpad on a simple idea: students shouldn’t just complain about local problems, they should pitch fixes directly to the people who can act on them. In its very first edition, a student team’s proposal to subsidize rent for low-income students was formally adopted by Bardibas Municipality — nine students are already paying half of what they used to.
