Hailing from Chitwan, Mr. Prithak Shrestha is a dynamic social activist who is extremely an exuberant student who identifies himself as a feminist in a patriarchal society to change the nation.   Prithak has always been passionate about doing his part for the society which made him start his own organization called  “In Her Hands” to make a positive impact in the lives of women through integrative health and rights focusing on menstruation of girls and women in Nepal.  He is involved in different issues related to child rights, youth empowerment and environmental conservation. Besides this, He is a team player and a hardworking soul. Prithak was awarded the Diana Award 2022, dubbed the most prestigious award for social and humanitarian activities under the age of 25, by the Royal Family of the UK. besides this, He also worked for the blood donation campaign and trained the people around in mass management. He served as a volunteer for orphan sisters with extra-curricular activities of Small home for Orphan Children. He has also written and edited articles, provided training, awareness programs, and many more.

Prithak advocated for menstruation awareness. He also provided awareness to promote the significance of women in society targeting the young to impart gender equality, and fight period poverty. Also, empowered the young children. By educating teenagers about menstruation, he has been motivating them and creating a positive impact in society. He as in the team especially targets young boys and men to instill the concepts of equality of genders, women’s health, and women’s rights from a young age. 
Prithak Shrestha has been selected as a “Glocal’s 20under20 of 2022 Batch” as an early change-maker throughout the nation. Glocal’s 20 under 20 is an umbrella title for 20 early change-makers, who are teenagers from diverse fields, stepping out to create an impact in the society.
