Nepal’s voice for South Asia’s girls, at UNICEF’s table.

Sabnam represents all of South Asia on UNICEF’s Global Girls Leader Advisory Group — a role that’s taken her from a shy 14-year-old joining her first empowerment program in Kawasoti to a panelist at the Women Deliver Conference in Australia, speaking on girls’ leadership and ending child marriage. Closer to home, her plastic-waste initiative Greening Pockets has already pulled 60+ kilograms of waste out of her own community.
