Ms. Sambridhi is an 18 year old ambitious and self-taught artist from Hetauda. She has an interest in arts and animations. She is motivated to work for the welfare of mankind.  Her professional journey started in the field of sketching from a very tender age. She has initiated the project called “Sketching smile” which aims to sew smiles on the lips of differently-abled kids. She sketches the smiles of customers on paper and charges them a certain amount of money, which goes to savings for donation. Additionally, she has also received many awards for her inspiring work.  Sambridhi is the president of Initiative for Girls in Physics initiated to break the gender stereotypes towards STEM education. She has organized talk shows, worked for blood donation, and volunteered at the hospital. Also, she works as the researcher “Investigation of Electroactive Shape Polymer” with the Zhejiang University of Technology. Apart from that, Sambridhi has also done a donation campaign to the Mamaghar Nepal organization.

Impact Created

Her works helped students to learn about shading, graphing, and other techniques of art for government schools. And, the money collected was used to provide food and clothes. The art has sewn smiles on some lips; it has inspired the young generation to do something for society, and that’s what she calls an impact.
Sambridhi Deo has been selected as a “Glocal’s 20under20 of 2022 Batch” as an early change-maker throughout the nation. Glocal’s 20 under 20 is an umbrella title for 20 early change-makers, who are teenagers from diverse fields, stepping out to create an impact in the society.
