Ms. Sanskriti Duwadi is a 19 years old passionate writer and gender activist from Kathmandu. She is a learner and a performer. She also works for the LGBTQIA+ community’s awareness.

She  belongs to the Global Peace Chain organization. Her current project is to develop an app for PROTEA, a platform for the youths that aims to create normalization and acceptance for the LGBTQIA+ community. Furthermore, She works to provide sessions about peace-making and awareness of LGBTQIA acceptance. 

She is also structuring the learning methodology of the children of Maya Ghar. She represented Nepal on international platforms and also worked as the Global Peace Ambassador. She gave training and worked as the mentor for ‘Digital and Samriddha Nepal.’ She also volunteered and organized the campaigns. Furthermore, she became the voice of the voiceless rape victims through her literary skills. 

In the upcoming days, she sees herself building Protea as an NGO successfully broadening the community. 

Impact Created

Sanskriti works to raise her voice and solve the social-issues organizing workshop. She works on understanding people and consoling them. Her work imparted positively to raise awareness about the LGBTQIA community. 

Sanskriti Duwadi has been selected as a “Glocal’s 20under20 of 2022 Batch” as an early change-maker throughout the nation. Glocal’s 20 under 20 is an umbrella title for 20 early change-makers, who are teenagers from diverse fields, stepping out to create an impact in the society. 

Currently, she is working as a writer, classical dancer, and a theatre artist. She has been volunteering and organizing campaigns for the betterment of the society. She has been appointed as Miss Teen Universe Nepal 2022. Her nonprofit initiative Protea and literary community The Wordsworthers has been educating people about the necessary causes through website.
