Mr. Mohan Budha is an 18-year-old Aspiring Social Activist from Humla. His purpose is to turn his vulnerabilities into experiences from which others can learn and be inspired. He also has a strong understanding of social issues and has been teaching young people about them in order to eradicate societal norms from society. He started working in this field individually and was actively involved in voluntary work.
From an early age, he started his journey. After understanding the root cause for the social problems. His trip began with the goal of enlightening him so that he might take action early to end such generational traditions. After conducting extensive research, he discovered that the greatest way to eradicate such horrific problems from society is to improve education on the concerns from an early age. As a result, Mohan started working in this field on his own and as a member of a National Youth organization.
Currently, he is associated with YUWA, a non-profit organization. He is on the Executive Team of YALC under YUWA Organization. He has been a permanent member for six months and has previously worked under the Radio program to provide free education to impoverished and marginalized students.
Furthermore, he is a member at Amnesty International Nepal, Auxiliary President at Scholastic Foundation Nepal (SFN), Treasurer of The SET Council. In addition, He is working as a Founder and President of the Social Service Club, Creative Club at Ama Dablam Academy.
He has organized several activities and programs in the communities through the Social Service Club, such as a blood donation campaign, an environmental awareness program, and a tree-planting program. Similarly, through Creative Club, he has provided kids with the opportunity to demonstrate their unique skills in the school and community.
Apart from that; He is also an Ambassador of the World Literacy Foundation (WLF). To share his academic knowledge, he is working as an online tutor in schools. He wants to explore his best knowledge to mobilize the youths in social development and youth lead projects for the country.
Through his work, he has been able to inspire teenagers. He has converted his vulnerabilities into experiences that others can learn and gain inspiration from him. Next, he has been inspiring teenagers and has received overwhelming messages from students via online classes.
He envisions himself leading and applying the greatest knowledge he has gained to yet in order to mobilize youths in social development and youth-led projects for the country in the future.
Mohan Budha has been selected as a “Glocal’s 20under20 of 2021 Batch” as an early change-maker throughout the nation. Glocal’s 20 under 20 is an umbrella title for 20 early change-makers, who are teenagers from diverse fields, stepping out to create an impact in the society.
