Mr. Rupam Ghosh is a young entrepreneur from India. He has invented a Thermal Cooling Jacket which is the latest and most efficient development yet in personal cooling in the world.
Recently he has been selected as an Expert for the Jersey City Sustainable Challenge by the New Jersey Board of education & got the Mentorship opportunity by the NYAS. He is the Co-Founder of the Company Ghosh Inventives LLP with two Director (s) Rupali Ghosh and Biplab Basu. Presently, he is a Member of the Junior Academy Of The New York Academy Of Sciences in New York, USA, ASME, IEEE, IStructE, London, IMechE, London.
He was awarded the National Award in 2017 for his contribution to the field of Science. Other awards are IFLA Business Award, AWIM AWARD 2011, NCERT 2014, Industry Academia Conclave award 2017 and so on. Rupam has been recognized as a finalist of Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero India, 2019 by Glocal Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Rupam Ghosh was invited in Teenspire to share his beautiful invention and successful entrepreneur journey; which has definitely brought a big impact nationally and Internationally. Hence, you can read his powerful conversation below;
What inspired you to work in the technological sector?
I always wanted to be a Change-maker since my childhood. When I was just 14 I lost my most beloved person, my Grandpa for a Sunstroke. That’s really got a big issue in my head and I thought that if I could have made something which could eliminate these kinds of diseases. From that moment I decided that I will never let anyone die for that. From this scenario, I have started researching at My Institute and after two years of work in 2016, I finally invented BEAT THE HEAT COOLING JACKET(Patented in 2017). So that’s the whole process. I got into the field of Thermodynamics to solve an issue. So that’s my story, which began almost in 2014.
Apart from Cooling Jackets and Cooling Burqa; what are your inventions?
There are 10 to 12 inventions that I have done over two to three years in the new category of Science. The invention that I like most; there was a massive fire in California last year. After that, we have done researched and invented a kind of liquid nitrogen injector which is an AI control thing which can detect the fire as soon as possible and inject the liquid nitrogen.
What keeps you motivated?
When you are a teenager, you don’t have a lot of burden on your family, so you can do whatever you want. But when you have your family, you have to find work. And in these case, people really got distracted from their dream and passion. When you are distracted from your passion and profession, you are never gonna make yourself happy.
In my case, my family never puts any kind of burden on my head because they know that the value of getting excellent and more experienced rather than getting money. When you got a certain amount of fame, a certain amount of responsibility, came from the same way. This is your passion, and you are actually doing the things. So that’s how we have to survive in this world of competition
How was your overall experience with Glocal Teen Hero?
About “Glocal Teen Hero”; I got a chance to know it from my Facebook account. Knowing it, I found it very interesting. I do believe; opportunity comes and it will turn out as a life-changer. The most important things I remembered at Glocal Teen Hero Conference; it is an amazing platform to share your ideas, initiation, insights, perspectives and experience. It is like meeting new people and getting opportunities. So that’s very important is that you have to expand your reachability at a point in time, and that’s how you are really enjoying the world scenario.
What are your future plans?
That’s a really hard question to take place. This year; I am planning to shift to Finland because I have got a lot of offers from university. So I’m waiting for the fundings. Similarly, I am planning to grow my business.

Don’t be distracted and don’t be disheartened very quickly. Always keep looking for potential contacts, don’t be very extroverted about your thing, be open, share your ideas with your mentors, friends which helps to grow you personally and professionally.
