A Door Step towards Professional Journey

Reet started her professional journey as an educator right after her completion of SEE. She has been fond of teaching from a very young age. During her school days, she used to teach her classmates different subjects by studying the matter by herself first. Her friends used to appreciate her teaching methodology and claimed that it was more understandable and enjoyable. Those positive feedbacks motivated her to follow her passion for teaching. Her own personal interests took her on the professional journey. Now, she has been working in the teaching sector for more than two-and-a-half years.

Additionally, she wants to develop her skill set in the field of teaching. Even though she is optimistic about Nepal’s education scenario, she wants to develop the modern teaching methodology of Nepal, especially in rural areas. Her teaching methodology is different from others. Every month, she awards her students for their outstanding work. She has been one of the mentors for students and teachers.

Her dedication and enthusiasm towards bringing impact in society has made her one of the change-makers and recognized her as one of the Finalists of Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero 2020.  She has been awarded with ETC Global Teacher Award 2020 in recognition of her outstanding and dedicated effort in the environmental and education sector. Also, she has been selected as an IYS Country Coordinator for Workplace skills Development Academy, New Zealand.

Reet has always been enthusiastic and actively working in the field of environment and education with the intention of finding herself. She aims to become a great educator and still she is working in it by taking different training, attending different seminars, workshops in order to boost her knowledge, learn more nationally and internationally. She dreams of doing something big, something positive change that can make a huge impact in society or for the nation.
