Mr. Prakash Badu is a 15-year-old child rights activist. He is dedicated to empowering young people to become agents of change in their communities. He uses innovative approaches and community engagement strategies. His goal is to collaborate with like-minded organizations and individuals to create a society that values and respects the rights of all children and young people.

His Work,

Currently, he is working with the National Adolescent Boy’s Network to end child marriage and eliminate gender-based violence. In Collaboration with Nabasarjak Sahitya Chautari Nepal, he is working to promote literature and empower young people through the power of storytelling. He is an Adolescent Facilitator who is passionate about ending child marriage and advocating for child rights.

Over the past six years, he has dedicated his work to making a positive impact on society. Along with promoting positive change in his community. With over 2 years of experience in designing and implementing evidence-based interventions, he possesses strong skills in program planning, implementation, and evaluation. He has been actively working with various organizations. Like: UNFPA, VSO, Peacewin, and Nabasarjak Sahitya Chautari Nepal, to bring positive changes in the lives of young girls and boys.

Impact,

Through his efforts, he has been able to raise awareness about the harmful effects of child marriage. And make parents and community leaders understand why it’s important to prevent it. He also helped to empower young girls to assert their rights and make decisions about their own lives. One of the most rewarding parts of his work is seeing how it has improved the lives of so many people. lives.
